We do not sell your personal information. We may share certain information with service providers, for legal obligations, or in connection with business transfers.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where no adequacy decision applies, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, in particular EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with an assessment of supplementary measures. Information about safeguards applicable to a specific transfer may be requested at privacy@samplevault.cc.
Core providers actually used are Clerk (sign-in and accounts), Stripe including Stripe Connect (payments, Creator onboarding, and payouts), Neon (PostgreSQL database), Cloudflare (hosting, network, R2 object storage, and technical logs), Resend (transactional email), and Sentry (error and stability diagnostics). External YouTube content is loaded only on product pages containing a video and after active consent. Depending on the feature a user actively uses, GIPHY, OpenAI, Genius, the YouTube Data API, and OpenStreetMap/Nominatim may also be involved.
We use appropriate technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption, access controls, and security reviews. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
We use strictly necessary cookies and similar storage technologies for sign-in, security, and language preferences. Optional external media is loaded only after an active selection and consent.
Selecting “Load video from YouTube” allows your browser to connect to YouTube/Google. Your IP address and device and usage data may then be transferred to Google and processed outside the EEA. We use the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com embed mode. Without “Remember on this device”, we store consent for the tab session; with this optional choice, we store it in local browser storage for later visits. Once consent is stored, further product videos load directly. You can revoke it using “Withdraw YouTube consent” at the player, which removes the stored consent.
If you are in the EEA, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and may withdraw consent for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority, in particular the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. Account data is generally retained until account deletion. Order, licence, payment, and accounting records are kept for statutory commercial and tax retention periods. Support, rights, and security cases are kept as long as needed to handle the matter, prevent abuse, or establish or defend claims; technical logs are regularly deleted or anonymised when no longer required for those purposes.
The Service is not intended for children under 13. If we learn we collected such data, we will remove it promptly.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, sent by email.
